Weight Loss

Worldwide, obesity has nearly tripled since 1975 and programs designed to assist with Weight Loss are making a difference to thousands of individuals and making a generational change to families’ health.

Reclaim Your Health does not encourage using meal replacements, counting calories, or offering pre-prepared food as a weight loss solution.

We encourage everyone who joins the program to agree to the following.

  • Define a weight loss goal
  • Record their weight
  • Record chest, waist and hip measurements
  • Advise their coach daily of changes to their weight
  • Walk every morning a minimum of 5,000 steps before eating breakfast
  • Reassess weight loss goals for ten weeks

Our Weight Loss program is based on one simple fact. Our bodies require food to convert into energy, but the frequency and the food we eat will dictate if we are storing or drawing on our reserves.

Weight Loss

Essentially that means a Balanced Diet.

  • Our bodies convert the sugar found in the foods we eat into energy
  • If the volume of sugar we eat is greater than the volume of sugar we convert into energy, the body will store the excess
  • If we undertake the simple activity of walking 5,000 steps before breakfast, we will convert fat into sugar
  • If the volume of carbohydrates we eat is less than the volume of sugar we consume, we will lose weight
  • If we are honest with ourselves and the people who coach us to lose weight about what we eat and how many steps we walk every day, the coach can fine-tune the program to ensure the required outcome is met
  • Our bodies have become accustomed to what we eat when we eat, and how much exercise we undertake and accordingly compensate for changes to those patterns
  • Habits are formed over a lifetime but will not take a lifetime to change
  • New habits centred around what we eat, how frequently we eat and how much exercise we undertake will change our metabolism.
