Life is a gift, and your health is a choice. The simple choices you make every day will influence the length and quality of your life.
What and how often you eat, combined with the size of the meal and the activity you undertake, influence your BMI and several other vital statistics that determine your body’s ability to withstand the rigours of a changing world.

As the old expression goes, “The more sweat in training, the less blood in battle”.
Six out of every ten people reading this or the people you know and love are overweight. Five in every 100 people have diabetes, while one in every four men and one in every five women suffer from high blood pressure.
Now, you may think you haven’t got a problem even though you are overweight or your blood pressure is slightly higher than it should be, and that is the problem; that’s the elephant in the room no one wants to confront.
Robert McAnderson is a survivor of Melanoma, Stage-4 Prostate Cancer, Heart Attack, Stroke, Chronic high blood pressure (hypertension), and Diabetes, and I was overweight and refused to acknowledge that fact.
Robert created this website to reach out to people who do not think they have a problem with their weight or their health.
Robert lived in denial that being overweight caused his health issues.
Lying in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital and standing at the foot of his bed were his wife and three daughters, waiting to say their final goodbyes; Robert found clarity.
Until you are faced with the same situation, you never fully understand that your choices have consequences and that the loved ones standing at your bed are the ones you have failed.
Please wake up to the fact that if you are overweight, it’s not ok.
Please wake up to the fact that if you don’t choose to do something about your health, you will find yourself in Robert’s shoes, and, like him, you will be filled with regrets.
Life is a Gift; Health is a Choice, and Choices Have Consequences.
That is the book’s name, and it is currently in production with the publisher Austin Macauley.
