Kidney Disease

Chronic kidney disease occurs when your kidneys cannot filter wastes from your blood, making you feel sick.

Kidney disease increases your risk of having heart and blood vessel disease.

These problems may happen slowly; early detection and treatment can often keep chronic kidney disease from worsening.

Kidney disease may eventually lead to kidney failure, which requires dialysis or a kidney transplant to maintain life.

Kidney Disease
Many people have kidney disease when they are older.

For the first time in 20 years, my kidneys are working correctly, and I no longer have Kidney Disease because of what I do daily to maintain my health and improve the quality of my life.

I was first diagnosed with chronic renal failure in 2008. While all subsequent eGFR blood test results consistently showed that my kidneys were close to complete failure, at no stage did my doctor advise that this condition came with a shortened life expectancy unless I lost weight and reversed this condition.

Now, that’s not to say the doctor was not concerned about my condition or that they did not do everything necessary to treat the disease because I genuinely believe they did.

The revelation came when I researched my medical history for a book I am writing. I could piece together a complete record of all my blood tests and fully understand the details behind the blood test results.

That research showed that over the six blood test results I found dating back to 2000, all of my results placed me in the category of Kidney Disease. The last test in September 2021 showed the results indicated a life-threatening stage of the disease.

Knowing I was scheduled to have a new test on March 10, I was anxious to see the results, given the weight loss and dramatic improvement in my health due to the effort I have placed on reclaiming my health.

According to the testing criteria for eGFR kidney function, the measurement needed to be (>59).

My lowest test result was 44 in September 2009, while my most recent test result was 39 in October 2018.

My test result for March 10 2022 was 60.

What I am doing works; it can reverse diabetes, and now I know it can also help kidneys recover and fully function.
